TRIJET FUEL TREATMENT F.A.Q.'s

Diesel & Ultra low sulphur fuels: Application> 30 ml/1oz. to 55 litres/ 15 US gallons

1. Is your additive 100% petroleum based? YES.

2. Does the additive clean and lubricate critical Top Engine wear surface? (E.g. valves, rings, pistons, injectors and pumps.) YES. The New International Test-HFRR shows that TriJet has achieved the score of 190 microns.

3. Does the additive lower the exhaust temperature? YES, In general, it should be expected that exhaust temperature will be lower. This is due to more efficient conversion of thermal energy into mechanical output due to better top end compression brought about by superior ring / liner lubrication.

4. Does the additive reduce the Sulfuric Acid action of the Sulfur in fuels? YES, It can reduce Sulfuric Acid action such as white sulfate salt at the end of the tailpipe, but only to a certain extent. Sulfuric Acid action caused by sulfur-laden fuel cannot be eliminated; it can only be curtailed. The reason for this is when sulfur in fuel is burned, sulfur dioxides are the end product. Condensation of sulfur dioxides with another combustion product (water) forms Sulfuric Acid.

5. Does the additive eliminate the formation of Gums, varnish and sludge? YES.

6. Does the additive retard or slow down the aging of fuel stored in the storage tanks? YES, Aging of fuel or the auto-oxidation process caused by organic peroxide naturally occurring in crude oil where the fuel was derived is slowed down.

7. Does the additive remove the water from the fuel? NO. Water cannot be removed from fuel, but low level moisture can be dispersed. However, presence of free water (such as 1% or more of fuel volume) may also be dispersed by applying a dispersant separately according to severity of water intrusion. TriJet will not form globules or coagulate with water.

8. Does the additive improve the burn cycle? YES. Burn cycle will generally be improved unless there is a major mechanical problem.

9. Does the additive eliminate bacteria (diesel bug)? YES. The additive will prevent bacteria growth.

10. Does the additive lower the emission levels? YES. Emission level will be reduced unless there is a major mechanical problem. The emission gases reduced are Hydrocarbons owing to better combustion and the Nitrogen Oxides owing to lesser air requirement. The level of Sulfur Dioxide, however, may or may not change because it is essentially dependent of the sulfur content in the fuel. Reduces engine oil soot.

11. What is the average fuel savings? Average fuel savings is a very individual nature and will have to be assessed on a case to case basis. In Canada we have experienced up to 15% fuel saving.

12. Does TriJet help with Direct Injection Valve wear & Carbon Build up? YES. TriJet is carried with the fuel & is atomized in the cylinder, which will disperse to the valves.

9. Does the additive prevent spark plug fouling? YES, Spark plug fouling can be prevented. TriJet promotes improved compression, hence, better and cleaner burn. It is ash free and phosphate free.

10. Using your additive can you use a lower octant fuel? The suitability of our additive for use with lower octane fuel has not been tested, but similarly, a product to serve this purpose may be custom formulated, if necessary. Also helps combat Ethanol issues.

12. Does your additive allow a vehicle requiring leaded fuel to stop valve recession now to be able to use unleaded fuel? If by valve recession, you mean wear, then the response would be YES, we can reduce wear.

13. What effect does your additive have on catalytic converters and oxygen sensors? TriJet does not contain phosphate or any kind of metal and therefore will not affect catalytic converters.
